You See Why I Switched to Crochet?

     Hello, hello~! I'm still working hard on convention prep, hoping I can get some unique items out there! Of course, you guys will get your picks too! I'll make sure to add some of these items to this store as well... though I'm sticking with some exclusives. The one that I know will stay exclusive will be if I manage to finish this big Celeste the Owl from Animal Crossing! She's so cute, but so time-consuming! 

     Anyway, the title. I've been working also on the theming of my site, in case the judges come over to see what I'm working with, and I have so much artwork that needs to be done. I'd love to do it myself and not bog others down with drawing backgrounds... but my artwork is pretty bad LOL. I wanted to disguise it as "Pulse found some crayons in 'Little Echoes Daycare' and has drawn some of their favorite stores!", but my pictures are so blobby that they're basically unreadable. Guess what this weeks picture is of? Random greens and browns? It's the blossoming tree in the lovely "Bloom & Bramble" in all its overgrown glory. You see what I mean? x)

     My art definitely hasn't improved since childhood, so I'm on the lookout for other ways of getting nice looking backgrounds. I have, in fact, dabbled a bit in generated art as my "IRL" work requires me to use ChatGPT... but I feel like it's not worth keeping forever? Like, I'm going to use them as placeholders and commission real artists in the future. I'm a crochet store, not an art store LOL! I am fretting over something super inconsequential as far as I can tell.
