Coo coo ka-choo, how do you do?
Wow, it's finally Halloween (Eve) and it feels like October both flew by and lasted forever. I'm happy to finally be headed into the true wintertime. It's gonna get super cozy around here in a bit, just you wait.
Lately, I've been playing a ton of Cult of the Lamb since it's free on Switch for a while. It's a charming little(?) game about being chosen as the leader of a long lost cult that's been banned from the world. Something like that, I guess. You, the lamb, are pulled in to fight the other leviathan type creatures so that your leviathan can be free once again! What horrors he will unleash... I'm not sure, I haven't finished the game yet. I've been having more fun hanging out with my cute little cultists and their silly quests. Of the hours I've put in, most probably have been fretting over if someone will die while I'm gone and make everyone else have a fit over the corpse in the town square.
One thing that surprised me is that this game is so new! I never paid much attention to it, previously writing it off as a "edgy streamer bait" type of game. Well, it is, as far as I can tell, but sometimes I want to be an e-girl okay?! Ahem. What I was saying was it's only a little over a year old at the time of writing this. I think I'm stalling actually playing the game part of the game because I can tell I'm near the "end." I've played similar games like Binding of Isaac, Dead Cells, and a little of Enter the Gungeon, but I've never nearly collected everything after only a week of playing. I noticed how many cards I had collected and was kinda like, "Oh. That's it?" Not in a bad way, but it was startling.
It's so weird that this cute, edgy-type game doesn't have that many crochet patterns for it! I don't know the numbers, but if I avoided it because it's been stereotyped as a "girl" game, where are the girlies who DIY everything?! "The designs are simplified down to basics, there should be tons of tutorials!" I say, totally entitled, instead of just making them myself. I'm itching to find some yarn and mess with some concepts kind of like the Binding of Isaac plushies I've done.
I'd better get back to the various projects I've started instead of burying my face in my switch and... Oh? My husband reached old age while I was out fishing? I'd better not go out in case he doesn't get his daily smooch...
