Streamlining and Ironing at the Same Time

Coo coo ka-choo, how do you do?

     The last of the packaging supplies are starting to arrive and I can't wait to put everything together! I know teal and magenta aren't uncommon colors, but you wouldn't believe how many shades of the two there are that could possibly arrive. I was very happily surprised they looks almost custom with perfect colors and heart motifs! They arrived so fast, I didn't have anywhere to put them. My fault for guesstimating how large everything I purchase is. I see 20x60cm and go "Eh, I probably have a container for that." forgetting I've already done that more times than the amount of containers I own. 

     Along with getting all of the packaging together, I still have a bunch of trimming to do on my product line! This is probably the most crocheting I've properly done in a while and I still feel underprepared. I know it's just the influencer influencing, but seeing people saying they made twenty large items in a month? My measly 3 pairs of gloves (plus incomplete pairs/gloves) feels super underwhelming. My worry starts coming back and I start wondering if I'd be able to keep up with everything. And then I remember the better idea, at least for me, to have only things available that are already finished. I'd easily get swamped by orders if I tried to do real-time fulfillment. I love seeing the "500 orders overnight?!" vlogs, but that seems like an awful and stressful time. If you don't already have excess stock, or premade items, it seems like a pain to have to scramble for supplies. 

     So, for now, I'll work on testing all the patterns I see myself making a bunch of versus ones that will take me forever. Patterns that allow me to just use up one skein at a time are my favorite. It's nice making accurate colors, but that's a lot of colors to have out and a lot of ends to weave in. Even when I first started crocheting, I avoided solid colors for mix colors because "Why would I want only one?" I need to cut out all of the really difficult projects, at least for the time being, regardless I'm sure they would be super popular. If I make enough stock of these tiny, intricate plushes, the store wouldn't open until 2050! It's gonna be hats, gloves, scarves, and maybe the occasional bag for the foreseeable future I'm guessing. At the most, I might make an assortment of something like the Pouch Beasts Capture Balls, but I'm still sorting out their costs. I have all these big ideas, but I have no solid way of putting them into action!
