Coo coo ka-choo, how do you do?
Hello! I've got some great news! The store is undergoing a large retheming! I know! I haven't even gotten an order yet and I'm already making massive changes and money commitments. LOL when has that ever stopped me? Going full force or none at all is my thing! x) Though, I guess my growing pile of WIPs says otherwise. I promise I'll finish Ketchup, that's for sure. She's so cute, but she's also so big!
Also, my Instagram is back from the dead! Phase one of revival has started and I am having the most anxious time! What will people think of what I have to offer?! Probably not too much of anything, I have pretty standard items. But that doesn't ease my tension since even if no one objects, people are seeing what I made! I've been doing crochet for nearly 7 years now and I've pretty much stayed closed up in my own personal bubble. Only sharing with family and friends! Now the whole internet might see! So, I want the store rebranding to be a surprise... but I'm also working on lore. It's going to be an immersive experience, I hope, so please allow yourself a little suspension of disbelief. For now, I'll say, the store is getting a mascot! Their name is Pulse and they are a visitor from the digital dimension! I might reveal their design on Instagram in a bit, that's where the yarn color missing has derailed my plans a bit. Other than that, I have to keep this hush-hush until I'm done with the art! Which is a lot of art, by the way, have you tried drawing semi-realistic landscapes after only being good at expressions on chibis? This is a mess! I'd hire an artist, but I have never commissioned anyone before! ...And I feel like I'd still have to draw mockups!
So, yeah! A lot happened this past week and hopefully more will happen this week! I'm in the process of getting the PO Box situation handled and just have to turn in some paperwork! The new store theme has been purchased and I'm in the process of customizing it, using placeholder pictures for the art right now. The retheme might be on hold for a bit as that art gets filled in, but I'm hoping it'll be done by the one year anniversary! I have even rethemed the discord channel to the Copper Vein Plaza and... whoops, I wasn't supposed to mention that!
