Coo coo ka-choo, how do you do?

Happy May! The weather is now ping-ponging between scorching and chilly again. I bought a new fan for my room recently and it's a mixed bag. It's futuristic because this is the first "smart" item I've ever had, but at the same time it's way too quiet for what I need it for. I'm the type of person who needs a fan while they sleep, since I have pretty noisy neighbors on all sides and get creeped out by a completely silent house too. If I set this new fan on anything lower than the highest, it's barely any sound! But if the fan is at the highest, my room is way too cold! First world problems, I guess.

I haven't been out to the store to stock up on yarn lately, so I've been working on getting through my yarn. I've still got A.C. Moore branded yarn in my stash! Because I have no idea if I could ever get my hands on another ball, I've been "wasting" it on stuff that I wanted to test. Mostly just patterns I saved years ago that I'd never gotten around to trying! I'm currently working on a Popsicle Poncho (meant for the Pantone Caron collab) in Premier's Sweet Roll in Frosty Swirl. According to my file history, I saved this all the way back in September 2021. The timeline tracks, I planned to use it on a cosplay I've been designing for the past few years, but I think even by then the collab was over. I remember getting a few colors of that yarn for Christmas 2019 and tangling it because I'd never worked with hanks before. I still don't work with them! I've gone through four yarn ball winders these past 6 years and every time the yarn just tangles into junk!

Edit: My starting chain got twisted and I only noticed four rounds in! ToT
