Coo coo ka-choo, how do you do?

I’ve been up over 24 hours, so I’ll keep my post short to save my eyes! My sleep schedule has been all over the place! I, however, won’t be saving my hands any time soon. Guess who got the hang of making melon keychains?!

I got really nervous when I couldn’t figure out the pattern I originally wanted to follow, but I found this super easy different one! Only 10 rows each and it’s just repeating alternating decrease rows! The only problem that I have, that’s not a problem with the pattern, is my appropriately sized eyes do not fit. The first two test runs went in perfectly fine. The third one, I struggled to get one of the eyes on. After a good couple minutes jamming the back on over and over, I got it in! The moment I went to work on the next row, the eye disappeared! The attempts to get the back on stretched the stitches so out of shape, it was totally ruined.

For now, I think I’ll just make slices with no face. I already don’t like sewing, so having to add embroidery just makes me want to put off the entire thing. I know the watermelon has to have seeds, but you don’t even eat those! My watermelon, and melons in general, are seedless for easy snacking! Please do not eat the keychains I don’t think yarn and stuffing taste good.
