Coo coo ka-choo, how do you do?

I've been crocheting up a storm lately and I have started a bunch of projects at once! From hats to plushies to unraveling a few dozen stitches, it has been a very packed week! On top of that, my Instagram (or I guess Meta) store got approved... maybe? I can tag products, but at the same time it's not letting me. I'll have to sort that out later, at least it's somewhat available.

Onto the crochet projects, I am proud to have finished some difficult color changes in what feels like a tiny plushie! I am crocheting a Sylveon as a gift to a friend, and I forgot how hard it was to shape the legs! I crocheted a Glaceon a few years ago when it was way above my skill range. LOL When I started these legs, I figured it would be just like that, but nope! Turns out I probably thoroughly ruined Glaceon's color changes versus the sleek ones on Sylveon. I also forgot how many little pieces there are to these. I remember how nice it looked when it was done, but forgot about head fur and outer/inner ears and especially for Sylveon, these bows and ribbons! It's coming out great, don't get me wrong, but since I'm done all the big pieces, all these little ones feel like they're piling up on their own!

I have been working on the re-theming of my store and I've started to have a few doubts about it, honestly. I really want to go hard on the abandoned mall theming, but at the same time I want my store to also be intuitive. I don't want it to be a literal maze! Just... in the lore it is! The amount of art I have to do too also feels like a mountain, mostly establishing the new mascot as the face of the store. I have to reinvent my entire presence, though I guess RustyyCrafts's presence is not really that developed, to make this theming work. I need people to suspend their disbelief for a bit and that makes me nervous that everyone will just see this as big cringe! orz

In better news, guess who is working on their first official bucket hat? Me!! I took a break from working on an angel (Sylveon) to begin working on someone a little less angelic. Guess who? It's an infamous little yordle getting a revamp soon. It's... Teemo! I’ve had this Teemo bucket hat pattern sitting around for ages, so I figured, since I already had the green yarn out from my honeydew keychains, why not give it a try? Who knew bucket hats were so straightforward? This is a far cry from the Urchin Understitch (Sorry, Echinoidea InferiorSuture) bucket hat that I was Frankenstein-ing via two completely  unrelated patterns. I still want to give that one another shot, but granny squares are my sworn enemy, and I haven’t even woven in the ends from my original attempt. Imagine getting a hat and then being told "Just ignore all that extra yarn hanging around in there, tuck it into the hat when wearing" x)

So yeah! Hopefully this week I get my first customer and not system errors, shady deals, and other miscellaneous roadblocks. Don't worry everyone! You can... maybe buy through Instagram! x) The one thing that I don't really want to deal with is returns, as I don't see myself taking them. If the warranty does come into play, please keep the original even though I'm sending a replacement! Currently, I have no idea how to fix an unravelling item besides just remaking the whole thing! So sending back an item will just have me sitting there confused! Please bear with me as I sort all of this out, I'm learning everything as I go! <3
