Coo coo ka-choo, how do you do?
Guess who has started a whole new product line? I have! Remember that virus shawl I made a while ago? I figured since that was a fun pattern to work with, I might as well make that a staple! Get ready for Mandala Gradient Virus Shawls! I mean, Shroom Bloom shawls, named after the spreading pattern like how mushrooms look! Virus has... less than favorable connotations, so I went with mushrooms instead. Hopefully you think of a cute portobello rather than amanita muscaria! x)
To the main topic, I've been working on the retheming! I know in the past few posts I've been kinda vague. Nope! It's now or never! RustyyCrafts is now fully going to be themed like an abandoned mall, influenced by liminal spaces, nostalgia, and urban exploration. I like horror, so it's also a little on the spooky side! It's definitely somewhere you wouldn't want to wander alone... so that's where Pulse comes in! Hopefully you find them as endearing as I do, or at least, that I can make them that endearing.
I can't reveal the retheming yet, as I still have a mountain of art to work on before the site doesn't look literally like a ghost town. Imagine the whole page is moody dark colors and then jarring placeholder images that are bright off-white. There's the other option of my artwork, but just looking at it makes me feel like it's not good enough LOL. I drew Pulse a reference sheet and I just think it looks unrefined. Seems like I need to get to commissioning a real artist to make some art of Pulse!
