Coo coo ka-choo, how do you do?
Aah! I had such an eventful time this past week! Between having to learn customer service on the fly and dealing with yet another bot accusation, I have been pulled in all sorts of directions. Let's walk through it together, maybe that'll clear my head.
First things first, RustyyCrafts the Instagram page. It's at... 75% efficiency I'd say. After two people (yes, two!) asked if they could buy something from me, I realized I really need to get Instagram shopping up and running. It’s both exciting and mildly terrifying because now the whole internet is seeing my stuff! Please bear with me while I try not to break anything in the process. I am clueless when it comes to Instagram.
Second, twice I got accused by Facebook for being a bot! I tend not to take pictures of myself, so when it went "Give a selfie." I panicked! So hopefully by the end of this week, I can get the Facebook page running, change my name to not "Rustyy Crafts", and then smoothly keep the page going. With that completed, Instagram (and less importantly, Facebook) shopping is coming next. I don't know if I'll expand to TikTok, as I've seen people get overwhelmed and promptly burnt out the moment something of theirs goes viral. Suffering from success is not how I want my store to go out!
Third, the PO Box problem is still a thing, but I am still working on it! Turns out I don't have a second form of identification since, well, most of my jobs have been favors and side projects. Getting paid randomly doesn't quite leave that much of a paper trail to use as identification. So... I'm hopefully going to work that out, maybe just get a part time job to give me a sheet that says I exist. I wish I'd known that earlier as I could've just suffered through getting jump scared ten times a day at Spirit Halloween for a while!
Anyway, yeah! Last week was an adventure, to say the least. I need to rest for a while, but I can't now! I have to keep pushing forward and not get roadblocked by my own nerves. Now the real roadblock is actually finishing my WIPs x)
